"My Wedding Hair-Do!!" by Rochelle, a Maui Bride                                      my wedding hair-do! 

I was a fortunate and busy bride having the privilege of two wedding ceremonies, one here on Maui with all our friends, then one on the mainland with family.

For the ceremony on Maui I had Linda, of MauiBridalHair.com do my hair. Little did I know how wonderful it would turn out and what an amazing help it was! I thought of it as a luxury-- and a way to get off my feet and relax before the big flurry began.

With all the work and details to take care of it felt so good to just sit and let her "do" it.  It took a little surrender to accept the teasing and the excessive spraying, but I trusted her, and in the end it came out perfect, and stayed perfect-- even through the light rain that blessed the outdoor ceremony.

I got so many compliments, I felt so pretty and the pictures turned out great too, not a hair out of place!

The ceremony in California was a different story. I did not know a hairdresser there whom I felt I could trust and so decided to "do" it myself. Oh-boy. What a nerve-racking experience trying to get my hair to do what it did for Linda on Maui. It took me 2 hours stressing out with my arms over my head trying to get it right, as the countdown to the wedding accelerated. I had to escape several times to the dressing room to re-curl my hair, in spite of all the teasing and hairspray. I really wished Linda were there with me for this one too.

Well, I learned, if there is one thing I could tell any upcoming bride, it is get LINDA to do your hair. Do what she tells you and trust her. It will save you so much unnecessary stress and trouble plus being an enjoyable way to relax and prepare yourself and look great for that special day.
